Doesn’t heat as much as i5 h series, display quality and color accuracy is poor, as expected in this price range, light, but just large enough to fit in an average backpack, okish build, used to restart out of blue, doesn’t happen anymore, the npu isn’t of much use coz copilot ai is terrible(unless u are thinking of building light nnms). Battery life is effectively 5 hrs, which is good enough in thos range.

The main problem is with warranty

When I bought the laptop and tried to register it on the HP site, I found the warranty had already started 2 months ago.

HP says the problem is with the warranty slip issued by Amazon, they can’t amend warranty without amended P-slip.

I have since then been trying to get Amazon to send me a proper P-slip but I have not been successful, every time I call them I am told to wait for a few more days. Apparently the seller is not issuing the amended P slip

The laptop itself seems to be good, have been using it for 3 weeks so this is an intial feedback.

The drawbacks so far :
1. Num Lock key does not have a light so you do not know if it is On or Off
2. No backlit keyboard
3. No fingerprint scanner for quick login

The plus points:
1. Good camera
2. Good storage
3. Decent speed and battery life
4. Not too heavy

Bought an HP 15 (Intel Core Ultra 5 125H) laptop and noticed the power light stayed on with a faint fan sound even after shutdown. Thought it was a defect, but it’s actually because of Windows Fast Startup. To fix it, go to: Control Panel → Power Options → Choose what the power buttons do → Change settings → Uncheck “Turn on fast startup” → Save. After this, the laptop shuts down completely and the light turns off normally. Fast Startup just makes boot a bit faster, so disabling it is totally safe. Great laptop overall — smooth performance once this setting was adjusted!

Amazon promise no cast emi but credit card add interest on EMI….

I pay amazon of rs 49042.93 ….And I am paying credit card of rs 16813×3 months….

Laptop is good. 100 % genuine product, I was scared as bought in sale but its not defective, its unsed.

Amazon has kept a trust, loyal customer since 2013.

1-Star Review Title: Received Used Laptop Instead of New – Worst Experience with Amazon! I ordered an HP 15 (fd1255TU) laptop expecting a brand-new device, but what I received was a used and defective laptop with multiple serious issues: CrystalDiskInfo showed: • Total Host Reads: 395 GB • Writes: 357 GB • Power-on Count: 69 This proves the laptop was already heavily used before delivery. Windows Event Logs show activity from March 23, 2025 – FOUR months before I even placed the order. User folders were created in April 2024, clearly showing the system was used before. Issues I faced: • Thermal shutdown / overheating • Battery backup less than 3 hours • Faulty charger • Abnormal mechanical noise inside • Keyboard button not working • Loose trackpad • Warranty started 4 months before delivery HP denied service and confirmed that this unit was already activated and used. They sent an official email saying the product falls outside of support and that I should contact Amazon for replacement. I contacted Amazon multiple times but got no help. They rejected replacement, and now I’m left with a defective product and no solution. I’ve spent 3 weeks following up with customer support. No technician visited, and no proper action was taken. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. This was a complete failure of quality check and customer service. Avoid buying expensive electronics from Amazon without proper verification. If you’re considering buying a laptop, buy it from the official brand store or trusted outlet.
